Life-or-Death Emergency (Departure Within 3 Business Days)
If an immediate family member has deceased, is dying, or has sustained a life-threatening injury abroad, you qualify for immediate, expedited emergency service. You must call to schedule an appointment.
Gather Physical Proof
You must present a certified death certificate, a signed statement from a licensed mortuary, or an official hospital letter (fully translated to English if original is foreign).
Print Direct Travel Proof
Provide printed proof of confirmed international flight itinerary showing departure within 3 business days.

If you are traveling internationally within 14 calendar days (or need a foreign visa within 28 days), you must secure an in-person appointment at a regional passport agency.
